(KJCCC) May 8, 2023 -- Justin Seuser stepped up when he was needed.

Seuser is the new Supervisor of Men's Basketball Officials for the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC). He will be in charge of scouting for new officials, organizing development camps, assigning officials for games during the season, and monitoring in-season progress and professionalism of the officials.

"I am ready," said Seuser. "This is a great way to stay involved."

Seuser retired from officiating after 15 seasons as an official for the KJCCC. The role of supervisor was perfect for his future plans

"I retired so I could watch my kids as the grow up," said Seuser.

Seuser also had a plan in mind to strengthen the conference.

"I will continue to build a strong network of officials," said Seuser. "We also need to be a great partner to our colleges."

Seuser stepped up after long-time KJCCC supervisor and veteran official John Blazek stepped aside due to his expanding roe as supervisor of basketball officials for NJCAA Division II.

Seuser's immediate focus will be on organizing the development camps scheduled this summer in Wichita and Lawrence.
