The Lady Red Devils fell 6-3 to Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Monday despite out-hitting them eight to six.

The Lady Red Devils took an early lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning Marissa Lilly drove in one run when she singled.Oklahoma Wesleyan University took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Jayci Wang homered off of Courtney Gard, driving in three runs.

Mykelti Shelton earned the win for Oklahoma Wesleyan University . She threw seven innings, giving up three runs, eight hits, striking out six, and walking one. Gard took the loss for The Lady Red Devils. She pitched three and a third innings, allowing four runs, three hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

Home runs for Oklahoma Wesleyan University came when Wang homered in the third inning and Tatum Dobson homered in the fourth inning.

The Lady Red Devils had eight hits in the game. Breanna Dinkel, Delaney Umholtz, and Lilly each collected multiple hits for The Lady Red Devils. Lilly, Umholtz, and Dinkel each collected two hits to lead The Lady Red Devils.
