Blue Devils Basketball Falls to Indian Hills, 96-71

The Blue Devils (5-4, 0-0) fell to the Indian Hills Warriors (5-2, 0-0) 96-71, Nov. 21, in Ottumwa, Iowa. Although the Blue Devils outshot the Warriors 75 to 66, the Blue Devils could only convert 27 field goals compared to the Warriors 39.
 
Guard, Mikequese Taylor led KCKCC with 18 points, five rebounds and three steals, while freshman Camron Williford had a career high 11 points and tallied two assists. This is the fifth consecutive game that Taylor has scored in double figures and now averages 12.3 points per game. The only other Blue Devil that averages more is Reginald Morris with 12.8 PPG.

The Warriors shot an impressive 59.1 percent from the field (39-66) compared to the 36 percent for the Blue Devils (27-75). Trevion LaBeaux led the Warriors with 18 points and shot 8-11 from the field while bringing down 13 of the 38 Warrior rebounds.

The Blue Devils are set to face the North Arkansas Pioneers at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 in Harrison, Ark.
