The Kansas City Kansas Community College Blue Devils (20-11, 7-3) fell to Allen Community College (20-9, 6-4) in the first round of the NJCAA Region VI playoffs Wednesday at Rockhurst University. 
  
The Red Devils took the first two sets, (25-20 and 25-23). Allen's offense had a spark from Isabella Simione who tallied 8 service aces.  
  
The Blue Devils were led offensively by freshman outside hitter Mercedez Brown who completed 12 kills on a total of 39 total attacks. Sophomore setter Taryn Dial had a team-high 37 assists along with five kills, seven digs and two block assists. 
  
On the defensive side, sophomore defensive specialist/outside hitter, Amauri Browning, led the team with a total of 21 digs alongside sophomore setter/defensive specialist, Emma Ayers, who added eight digs.
