Top-ranked Lady Tigers pick up a pair of 9-0 wins

Facing seventh-ranked Collin County and No. 12-ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at the Tyler Tennis Invitational in Tyler, TX, the No. 1-ranked Cowley College women's tennis team flexed its muscle in a pair of 9-0 victories.

The Lady Tigers dominated Mississippi Gulf Coast in a 9-0 win on Sunday. Cowley did not drop a set while playing its first junior college opponent of the spring. Before Sunday's match, Cowley had faced only NCAA Division I or II schools.

On Monday, Cowley did the same to Collin County in the 9-0 win. The Lady Tigers will play one more match in Texas when they take on third-ranked Tyler Junior College on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
