Coffeyville Basketball's Season Comes to an End

A magical season by the Coffeyville Red Ravens came to an end Friday afternoon in Hutchinson, Kansas. The #4 seeded Ravens took on #8 seeded Ranger College. Coffeyville never held a lead throughout the entire game. It started off slow for the Ravens in the first few minutes falling behind 10-2.  A constant game of catch up the Red Ravens got the score to 38-30 at halftime looking to make their come back. Kymani Dunham and Manny Crump had solid first halfs for the Ravens both scoring 8 points.

The second half would be much of the same. Poor shooting on Friday afternoon would plague the Ravens and they would fall 84-61. For the game the Ravens were 3-22 for 13.6% from the three point arc and 23-68 for 33.8% for the field. Miekkel Murray would have a team high 12 points and add 8 rebounds for Coffeyville.

Though the game vs Ranger College did not go as the Ravens wanted it takes nothing away from a tremendous year. Coffeyville will finish the 2018-19 with an overall record of 30-4.
