An early lead helped The Lady Red Devils defeat Ottawa University JV 7-3 on Wednesday. The Lady Red Devils scored on a single by Marissa Lilly, a stolen base by Winter Henry, and a single by Alexis Ramos in the second inning.

Ottawa University JV captured the lead in the first inning. Ottawa University JV scored on a stolen base during Sydney Lehr's at bat. Then Lehr doubled.The Lady Red Devils took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Marissa Lilly singled off of Logan Daniels, driving in one run, Winter Henry tripled, driving in one, and Alexis Ramos singled off of Daniels, driving in one run.

Dela Boyd earned the win for The Lady Red Devils. She pitched five innings, surrendering one run, two hits, striking out five, and walking one. Daniels took the loss for Ottawa University JV. She tossed five innings, giving up four runs, six hits, striking out three, and walking zero.

Raegan Beckley started the game for The Lady Red Devils. She pitched two innings, allowing two runs, five hits, striking out two, and walking one.

The Lady Red Devils collected nine hits. Ramos and Henry each collected multiple hits for The Lady Red Devils. Ramos went 3-for-3 at the plate as she led the team with three runs batted in.
