The two teams will collide for the third time this season in Dodge City this weekend. A date and time have not yet determined. Dodge City won the first meeting 2-1 at KCKCC. When the teams faced each other later in the season, the game ended in a 2-2 tie.

Dodge City (6-4-2) earned the home playoff berth by finishing third in Region VI, one win ahead of the fourth place Blue Devils (5-4-3). Barton (9-1-2), whose only loss was to KCKCC, won the conference with Cowley (8-4) second.

The Blue Devils built up a 3-0 lead over Garden City in a game played in Wichita. Freshman Noah Conover of Olathe Northwest broke a scoreless tie on a goal assisted by Ajay Stewart 24 minutes into the game. The Blue Devils then beat the halftime clock by two minutes for a 2-0 lead when freshman Aidan Schofield of Blue Springs South scored on an assist from Aaron Jackson.

Stewart, a sophomore from Montego Bay, Jamaica, put the game out of reach with a pair of unassisted second half goals. Freshman Franco Briani Brunoro had four saves in goal. The lone Garden City goal came with nine minutes left and KCKCC leading 3-0. KCKCC finished regular season play with an overall record of 6-5-3.
