Grizzlies Take Down Seward in 5, Win 5th Straight

EL DORADO, Kan. – Butler volleyball won its fifth straight match as they took down Seward, 3-2 (25-21, 23-25, 25-14, 22-25, 15-8), on Saturday at the Power Plant.

The first four sets alternated with who won as Butler won the first and third and Seward took the second and fourth.

The biggest margin of victory for Butler was the third set when they hit 25-14 and hit a match-high .393%.

Sydney Lentz landed a career-high 19 kills on .581 hitting to go with six blocks. Anja Milosevic tallied 45 assists and five blocks. Raven Boone had 15 kills on .414 hitting to go with four blocks.

Butler jumped out to a 4-0 lead early on in set five which helped them to a 15-8 win.

Butler swept the season series with Seward this season after previously defeating them 3-0 in Liberal.

The Grizzlies have one regular season match left as they host Hutchinson on Monday at 1 p.m.
