Ramalho's Triple-Double Leads Scotties to Victory

Niccolly Ramalho had her best game of her Highland career against the University of St Mary JV Spires earning a triple-double in points, rebounds, and assists while contributing nine steals, one short of a quadruple-double.

The Scotties traveled to Leavenworth to take on the Spires in their second meeting this season. Highland, who is on 11 game win streak, continued to build on their momentum to take the victory 91-45 to extend their overall record to 12-0 this season.

The Scotties led after the first quarter 19-4 and did not slow down heading in to the half leading 47-19. Blaize Burgess took control in the first half scoring 11 points with Ramalho and Mariane De Caravalho both adding eight points and nine and six rebounds a piece.

The second half saw nothing but continued energy from the undefeated Scotties. Highland forced the Spires to 29 turnovers and scored 30 of their points off of those turnovers.

Sydney Brinlee stayed consistent for Highland with her seventh double-double of the season scoring 15 points with 12 rebounds and two blocked shots. Burgess went 3-9 from the behind the arc contributing 16 points.

The undefeated Highland Scotties will host Oklahoma Wesleyan University JV on Monday, December 4th at 1:00 in the afternoon in Ben Allen Field House.
