TUCSON, Ariz. – The Bobcats have made history.
After making it to the national semifinals in now three of the last four tournaments, it was only a matter of time.
Jones defeated Johnson County (Kansas), 3-0, Saturday afternoon at Kino Sports Complex to claim the program's and MACCC's first-ever women's soccer national title.
"This has been a dream of mine as long as I can remember," 16th-year head coach Dolores Deasley said. "We played four games in six days and it's remarkable what they've done. Just so proud of them."
