Hopkins
Seward County Community College

Sophomore
Right-Handed Pitcher
El Cajon, CA
In by far the busiest week of her Seward County career,
Lady Saint sophomore Brittany Hopkins led the gals in
green to five wins over the past seven days, recording a
4-0 record with a save in that span. She threw 20 2/3
innings and allowed just 2 runs on the week, good for a
0.68 ERA. Tuesday against Colby she came in to close
out a 6-5 win for Seward in game one to record a save.
In game two of the double header she went the distance,
allowing just 2 hits in a 16-0 shutout win over the
Trojans. Wednesday she worked double duty again,
starting game one and throwing another complete game,
this one against Clarendon, allowing 3 hits and 1 run in
a 9-1 Seward victory. In game two of the double header
she again came into the game in relief and pitched 3
shutout innings, allowing just 1 hit to earn the win as
Seward came back to beat the Bulldogs 7-5. Saturday she
threw her third complete game of the week, going all 7
innings of a 2-1 Seward win over Dodge City to move her
record to 4-0 on the week.
