KJCCC Kansas MTXE Baseball Athletes of the Week, Week 4, 2018

Josh Hendrickson, Baton, scattered five hits Sunday versus Western Nebraska but erased any threat by recording ten strikeouts including four coming as the final out of his five innings of work.  Striking out the side in the second, Hendrickson's biggest threat came in the fifth as a leadoff double would be stranded as the Australian mowed down the final three batters to conclude his day.  Improving to 2-0, Hendrickson has 22 strikeouts in his fourteen innings of work with a 0.64 ERA.

Johnson County Community College freshmam outfielder Jacob Owens hit at a .529 clip last week, going 9-for-17 with a double, a triple, five runs scored and six runs driven in. He had multiple-hits in three of the four games played, including two three-hit games.
