Kaden Fowler continued his torrid start to the season batting .739 this past week going 17-of-23 with seven extra base hits.  Helping the Cougars to nine straight wins improving to 13-3 on the season, Fowler was 10-of-12 away from the home turf in driving in five of his nine RBIs with three extra base hits. Making thirty-two plate appearances, Fowler' .781 on-base percentage led to crossing the plate nineteen times in drawing seven walks and a hit by pitch.

Neosho County freshman right-hander Brandon Anderson pitched a complete-game three-hit shutout over Highland last week. He worked seven innings and struck out 11 batters.
