KJCCC Kansas MTXE Baseball Athletes of the Week, Week 14, 2018

Josh Hendrickson, Barton, was dominate again on the hill to silence Allen County in winning game one of the opening round of the Region VI playoffs.  After surrendering two first inning hits, the sophomore lefty from Australia sent the Red Devils down in order four of his eight career high innings including striking out two batters in four of the frames in scattering a total of four hits. Moving into third place in Barton history improving to 9-2 on the season in lowering his ERA to 2.35, Hendrickson's eleven strikeouts in the contest moved up to the No. 3 spot on the school single season strikeout chart with 105 on the year.

Johnson County Community College freshman first baseman Malik Williams batted .667 (8-for-12) with two doubles, a home run, four runs scored and six driven in to help lead the Cavaliers to a best of three series win over Cloud County in the first round of the Region VI Playoffs. In the final game of the series, Williams reached base on all five plate appearances, with three singles and two base-on-balls.
