Johnson County sophomore shortstop Chris Esposito hit .483 (14-for-29) with three doubles, three home runs, nine runs scored and 15 driven in last week for the 6^th-ranked Cavaliers. He had a hit in all seven games and multiple-hits in five of them, including a pair of three-hit games. He also had three games with three RBIs and in the final game of the week he drove in a career-high five runs. He also posted a .920 fielding percentage, committing just two errors in 25 chances. 

Coffeyville right-hander Aaron Bechtel lowered his ERA to 2.57 and moved his record to 6-0 on the 2019 season after his complete game shutout against Highland.  Bechtel threw seven innings, gave up five hits, and had 10 strikeouts all without giving up a run.
