Cloud County sophomore Jackson Dietel made a major impact in the T-Birds' 3-1 series win over Barton, highlighted by an explosive Game Four that saw Dietel finish 4-for-6 with two home runs and six driven in. Dietel, who was the game four starting pitcher, tied the score at 9-9 with a leadoff home run in the top of the ninth inning to force extra innings. He scored the eventual game-winning run in the 11th inning after leading off with a single. In addition to his impact at the plate, Dietel pitched six strong innings Sunday, allowing just two runs, and picked up a save with a scoreless ninth inning in Cloud County's Game Two victory.
