KJCCC Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, Wk. 1

Johnson County freshman Quinton Hall had a great start to his collegiate career helping the 15th-ranked Cavaliers to a 3-1 week against Brookhaven. Hall hit at a .714 clip (10-for-14) with two doubles, two triples, a home run, eight runs scored and eight driven in.

Barton left-hander Noah Geekie pitched a near perfect five innings on Sunday at Carl Albert State College, exiting the game allowing zero hits while striking out seven and walking two. Normally the Cougars' regular left fielder, the starting role was just the second of the sophomore's career.
