KJCCC West Player of the Week: Trenton Rowan – Seward County Community College
Trenton Rowan stepped up to the plate and did not disappoint for Seward County who went a perfect 4-0 to open the 2024 season this past weekend, scoring 5 runs for the Saints and driving in 8 including all 7 of SCCC's runs in game 3 off of 2 home runs to lead the green and white to a 7-1 win over Redlands. Overall he hit 4-12 through all four games to help lead Seward County to a sweep in the opening weekend and start off 4-0.

KJCCC West Pitcher of the Week: Trenton Roehler – Hutchinson Community College
Hutchinson Community College freshman pitcher Trenton Roehler struck out seven batters in three innings of relief to lead the Blue Dragon baseball team in a Game 2 8-0 win over Southeast Nebraska to complete a doubleheader sweep of the Bobcats. Roehler earned the pitching victory with three shutout innings and only two hits allowed.
