KJCCC West Player of the Week: Juan Rivera – Dodge City Community College
Dodge City baseball went on the road and took three of four against #19 New Mexico. The Conquistadors offense was strong all weekend and Juan Rivera helped lead the way playing in all four games going 8-15 with four runs scored, three RBI, a triple, three walks, and four stolen bases. He had a pair of three hits games in the first and third game of the series. On the season Rivera has played in all seven games for the Conqs registering a .400 batting average with 10 hits, seven runs scored, a triple, five RBI, four walks, and five stolen bases.

KJCCC West Pitcher of the Week: Bryce Chambers – Dodge City Community College
Dodge City baseball went on the road and took three of four in the series against #19 New Mexico. In the series opener Bryce Chambers helped the Conquistadors set the tone for the weekend as he hurled six innings of action to earn the win on the hill. Chambers struckout seven in the win giving up just two runs on six hits and one walk. In two appearances this season Chambers has thrown a total of 10 innings picking up two wins giving up just two runs on nine hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts and has a 1.80 ERA.
