KJCCC West Player of the Week: Cole Schieffer – Barton Community College
Cole Schieffer turned in a solid week at the plate hitting .500 and drove in six runs guiding Barton to a doubleheader sweep over Western Nebraska. The sophomore started the doubleheader with a 2-for-3 performance with a triple and two RBIs. Schieffer played a bigger role in the nightcap launching a first inning three-run blast for his first collegiate home run helping Barton jump out to a 5-0 first inning lead before driving in his fourth drawing a bases loaded walk.

KJCCC West Pitcher of the Week: Caden Wanless – Hutchinson Community College
Hutchinson Community College sophomore pitcher Caden Wanless faced six batters against Rose State and struck out five in a dominant Blue Dragon pitching performance.
