Co-KJCCC East Player of the Week: Dagen Brewer – Johnson County Community College  and Gehrig Goldbeck – Kansas City Kansas Community College
Johnson County sophomore designated hitter Dagen Brewer batted .462 (6-for-13) with two doubles, two home runs, four runs scored and eight driven in to help the Cavaliers to a series sweep over Neosho County to open the 2024 conference slate. 

Kansas City Kansas sophomore shortstop Gehrig Goldbeck had a great weekend at the plate going 5-for-8 with while scoring 10 runs for the Blue Devils. Goldbeck averaged two walks per game and tallied a home run and a double. He now leads the team with a batting average of .458. 

KJCCC East Pitcher of the Week: Ryan Borberg – Johnson County Community College
Johnson County sophomore right-handed pitcher Ryan Borberg hurled a one-hit shutout at Neosho County in both team's conference opener.  Borberg scatted three hits over seven innings and struck out eight batters.
