KJCCC West Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, Week 9

KJCCC West Player of the Week: Joseph Dominguez – Dodge City Community College
Dodge City baseball played to the split in a four-game series with Cloud County and the play of Joseph Dominguez was spectacular for the Conquistadors as he anchored second base in all four games. Dominguez was 11-17 with three doubles, three runs scored, five RBI, and a triple. He was 4-5 in game two of the series in which the Conquistadors earned a win recording a run scored, double, triple, and two RBI. In both games at Concordia Dominguez would record three hits in each. On the season Dominguez is hitting .452 in 12 games with 19 hits, eight runs scored, four doubles, a triple, nine RBI, and four walks. 

KJCCC West Pitcher of the Week: Bradley Neill - Hutchinson Community College 
In a week where Blue Dragon pitching threw three shutouts and allowed just two runs, sophomore Bradley Neill had the top performance in an 11-0 win over Pratt on Saturday at Hobart-Detter Field. Neil tossed a career-high 6 2-3 scoreless inning against Pratt to improve his record to 5-0 for the season. Neill scattered five hits and didn't walk a batter while striking out five.
