KJCCC East Player of the Week: Jordan Black – Johnson County Community College 
Johnson County sophomore infielder Jordan Black hit .500 last week (8-for-16) to help the Cavaliers to a four-game sweep over Coffeyville. He hit three doubles, a home run, scored six runs and drove in seven highlighted by a four-hit, six-RBI effort in the final game of the series. 

KJCCC East Pitcher of the Week: John Chambers – Johnson County Community College
Johnson County right-hand pitcher John Chambers made two relief appearances last week to help the Cavaliers secure victories. In a 7-1 win at Coffeyville, Chambers pitched two perfect innings and struck out three to earn a save. Two days later he logged three innings of relief and held the Ravens to just one run off three hits while striking out five to pick up the win.
