KJCCC East Player of the Week: Ryker Edwards – Johnson County Community College 
Johnson County freshman outfielder had a big series against No. 16 Cowley to help lead his No. 1-ranked Cavaliers to a series victory. He hit ,571 (8-for-14) over the four-game series with a double, three triples, two home runs, eight runs scored and eight driven in. He also drew five walks. In the field, Edwards recorded a putout in each of the four games. 

KJCCC East Pitcher of the Week: Keaton Matlick – Highland Community College
Highland left-hand pitcher Keaton Matlick held his own in the second game against Labette CC. He only allowed 1 hit. He gave up 0 runs and 1 walk with 4 strikeouts. Keaton's performance in 3.0 innings helped the Scotties win 14-4.
