Sophomore receiver Malik Stanley, from Topeka Kansas, set a new Red Raven school record with 16 catches in the game.  Stanley's 16 receptions were for 189 yards (avg 11.8) and 2 touchdowns.  Stanley was unstoppable all evening with his 2 touchdowns coming in the second quarter, both were 6 yard TD receptions.

Garden City became just the second team to win at Iowa Western in six years, thanks in large part to Gabe Luyanda's efforts in the second half.  After taking a 7-3 lead in the third quarter, Luyanda picked off Nebraska-transfer A.J. Bush, and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown. It put the Broncbusters up 14-3, and spearheaded a two-turnover performance by one of the nation's top defensive units.
After the Red Ravens were down 0-14 in the first quarter, Cooper Lee's punting switched the field position game and enabled the Coffeyville defense to defend a longer field.  Cooper Lee punted 6 times in the game for a huge 52.2 avg with his longest punt of 87 yds setting the NJCAA record for longest punt!
