OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Charles West, Garden City
Garden City's Charles West, the nation's leading rusher, became the first Broncbuster running back in 11 years to record five straight 100-yard rushing games. He averaged more than 13 yards per carry as Garden City posted a 37-point second quarter, the most in a single frame since Oct. 1, 2001.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Reco Hannah, Highland
Highland linebacker Reco Hannah had a strong game leading the team in tackles with 15 and 3.5 sacks of the team's seven sacks in a narrow 21-18 victory at Iowa Central. His 3.5 sacks tie his own performance against Iowa Central in 2017 for second most in a single game in Highland history. Hannah now ranks 14th all-time in school history in tackles in his career with 109 and needs just 14 more to crack the Top 10. Highland's defense forced a pair of turnovers, seven sacks and held Iowa Central to under 300 yards of total offense including just 79 yards rushing.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brian George, Highland
Highland won another close contest picking up a 21-18 road win over Iowa Central to improve to 4-1 on the season. With Highland down 7-0 early Brian George provided a big spark getting Highland on the board with a 74-yard punt return touchdown to tie the game in the first quarter. George field the kick close to his own sideline and found a cut back lane to cut all the way across the field and take the punt back 74-yards, marking the fourth longest punt return in school history. He also added 5 tackles and a pass breakup on defense at his defensive back position.
