KJCCC Kansas MTXE Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 4, 2017

Sophomore guard Devonte Bandoo nearly averaged a double-double for the week as No. 1 Hutchinson earned two Jayhawk Conference victories last week. Bandoo averaged 19.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists as Hutchinson defeated No. 14 Coffeyville and Neosho County. Against the Red Ravens, Bandoo flirted with his first career double-double with 20 points on 8 of 12 shooting and eight rebounds with five assists. Against Neosho County, Bandoo did produce his first career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Johnson County Community College freshman forward Evan Morrison came in off the bench to post a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, in a six-point loss to Washburn JV last Monday. It marked the second straight game Morrison topped double digits in points, and his 10 rebounds are a new career high. Morrison shot 63 percent from the field, hitting 5-of-8 attempts, and was perfect at the line going 2-for-2.
