KJCCC Kansas MTXE Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 12, 2017-18

Coffeyville Community College has won nine straight games.  Last week, they were led by freshman Marvin Johnson.  The 6'5 wing from Oklahoma averaged 23.5 ppg and 7 rpg in wins over Seward and Noesho County. He also combined for five assists, 10 steals, and four blocks in the two games.

Johnson County Community College sophomore guard Anthony Lupardus averaged 27.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and shot 52 percent from 3-point range while leading the Cavaliers to a pair wins last week. Lupardus opened the week with 30 points in a 99-83 win over Hesston. He hit 9-of-18 shots, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range, and was 6-of-6 at the line. He capped the week with 24 points in a key road win at Kanas City Kansas. Lupardus again hit 9-of-18 from the floor, including 6-of-12 from 3-point range. He also dished out six assists.
