Johnson County Community College sophomore guard Nick Larkin averaged 19.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and shot 73 percent to lead the Cavaliers to a pair of blowout wins over the weekend. In an 88-61 win over John Wood, Larkin was the star of the night finishing with 25 points, six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block. He was 10-of-13 from the field with one 3-pointer, and 4-of-5 at the line. In a 102-58 win over Washburn JV on Saturday, Larking flirted with a triple-double as he contributed 13 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. Larkin currently ranks tied for sixth in the conference in scoring average at 12.5 per game. He is fifth in rebounds average at 6.0 and he is the conference leader in assists with an average of 4.9 per game.
