Johnson County Community College sophomore guard A.J. Pleasant was inserted into the starting lineup this week and he took advantage of the opportunity. Pleasant average 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.5 steals while leading the Cavaliers to a pair of road victories. He also shot 74 percent from the field, including 56 percent from 3-point range. He had a season high 20 points in a 79-64 win at MCC-Penn Valley and in an 83-69 win at Southeast, Pleasant flirted with a triple-double finishing with 14 points, eight assists and seven boards. 

Labette freshman guard Keondre Kennedy had a big week with back to back double-doubles. Including a 34 point, 10 rebound  performance vs Missouri State-West Plains.
