KJCCC Men's Division II Basketball Athlete of the Week, Week 11

The #4 Highland Men's basketball team got back in the win column last week by opening KJCCC play with a 72-70 win at home over Labette moving the Scotties to 19-1 on the season. Leading the way for Highland was Tristen Hull who had a game high 16 points and recorded his second straight double-double and fourth overall grabbing 12 rebounds which matches his career high. Hull added two assists, three steals and a block to his stat line in the win. His 16 points gives him double figures in nine straight games this season for the Scotties and 13 of the 20 games played this year. On the year Hull is averaging 11.8 points per game on 57.7% shooting, while shooting 70% from the charity stripe and has added 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game. 

Johnson County Community College sophomore forward David Turner led the Cavaliers with 15 points and eight rebounds in a 66-55 road victory over Fort Scott last week. He also had three blocks, two steals and an assist.
