Miles Gibson hit the game-winning shot to upset No. 11 Seward County 80-78 and help the Mavericks go 2-0 last week. Gibson averaged 19.5 points and put up a double-double in an 88-73 win over Dodge City with 19 points and rebounds with five assists.
