HUTCH'S SNIGLETON TAPPED AS DI MEN'S HONOREE

Hutchinson Community College sophomore Saquan Singleton showed a tremendous all-around game in leading the No. 7 Blue Dragons to three impressive victories last week. He was named the KJCCC Men's Division I Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Singleton, a 6-foot-5 guard/forward from the Bronx, New York,  had a triple-double with 14 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists in a victory over NEO last Tuesday. He added a double-double with 11 points and a career-best 13 assists in a 21-point victory over Iowa Western.

For the week, the Blue Dragon sophomore averaged 9.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 31.3 minutes per game. The triple-double is only the fifth recorded triple-double in Blue Dragon history.
