PRATT'S HORTON NAMED MEN'S DIVISION I PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Pratt sophomore guard Jamel Horton had two huge games against the Nos. 1 and 3 teams in the KJCCC and led Pratt to a 2-1 week. Horton in three games last week averaged 23.7 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the field. He shot 43 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent from the free-throw line. Against first-place Barton, Horton had 33 points with six rebounds and seven assists in a 91-80 win over the Cougars. Against third-place Hutchinson, Horton had 23 points in a 94-91 double overtime win over the Blue Dragons.
