Johnson County sophomore guard JaQuaylon Mays averaged 24 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals while leading the fifth-ranked Cavaliers to a pair conference wins last week. He also shot 61 percent from the field and 63 percent from 3-point range. He opened the week with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds in a 79-72 win over Labette. He closed out the week with 25 points, four rebounds and five assists in a 73-57 win at Hesston.
