Blue Dragon sophomore forward/guard Jaquez Yow posted two double-doubles in a pair of wins for the No. 9-ranked Blue Dragons last week. A sophomore from Newport News, Virginia, Yow had 17 points and 10 rebounds and hit a huge 3-point goal late in the game to win at Independence in the conference opener. He then went for a season-high 20 points and 10 rebounds in a five-point win at Cloud County. For the week, Yow shot 63.6 percent, hitting 2 of 3 from 3-point range and 7 of 9 from the free-throw line.
