Player of the Week: Tymer Jackson – Johnson County Community College
Johnson County sophomore guard Tymer Jackson averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 assists while leading the Cavaliers to a pair of come-from-behind victories last week. Jackson scored 24 points in a win over Metropolitan, 18 in the second half, to turn a 15-point deficit into a 17-point victory. Three days later he poured in 23 to help JCCC rally from 11 down in the second for a 68-65 win over Southeast. Jackson currently is the KJCCC D-II leading scorer averaging 21.0 points per game.
