Garden City sophomore guard Braxton Jones was named the KJCCC Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.

The Broncbusters went 2-0 last week wth decisive victories over Frank Phillips and Clby.

Jones led the Broncbusters in both games with 26 in each game. Jones shot 45.7 percent overall from the field and was a perfect 9 of 9 from the free-throw line while averaging over 34 mins per game.

The Monroe, New Jersey product also averaged 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists last week.
