Reigning Jayhawk Conference Player of the Week Lajae Jones made it two weeks in a row winning the weekly honor after averaging 16 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field with eight rebounds in 33 minutes of court time helping the sixth ranked Cougars to a 1-1 week. Opening his week Jones led Barton with 18 points as the sophomore guard got to the charity stripe converting on 11 of 12 attempts while adding six rebounds and creating two steals in the losing effort. Responding in a big way, Jones reached double figures in scoring for the fifth-straight game with 14 points and secured his third double-double of the season corralling 10 boards in 33 minutes of action helping Barton bounce back with a  65-61 road victory at No. 9 Butler.
