KJCCC D-II Player of the Week: Chris Flippin – Highland Community College
Sophomore center Chris Flippin was a big factor in the pain last week for Highland. He averaged 19 points per game while shooting 56 percent from the field. He also averaged 7.5 rebounds. Flippin scored 23 points on Wednesday in a loss to No. 19 North Central Missouri and posted a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds on Saturday to help lead the Scotties to a 69-65 win at No. 10 Johnson County.
