On Wednesday night at Kansas City Kansas, May's line consisted of 15 points, seven rebounds and three steals. On Saturday, May powered JCCC to a 106-77 win over Neosho County, pouring in a career-best 34 points. May hit 12-of-20 shots, including 2-of-2 from 3- point range, and was 8-of-11 from the line. He also had eight rebounds and three assists. |
Seward County Community CollegeMichael Tyree Sophomore 5' 11" Guard Franklin High School Somerset, New Jersey Sophomore Michael Tyree tied the Seward County men's basketball record for three-point field goals in a single-game with eight against nationally-ranked Barton County in Great Bend, Kan. Earlier this season, Tyree set the school record with eight 3-pointers against Clarendon College (11/18/06). Tyree is leading the Region VI and is fourth in the nation in three-point buckets (65), and is shooting 44 percent from long range. Tyree is the sixth leading scorer in the Region (18.6 ppg.) and has made at least five three-pointers in seven games this season. |
