Antonio led Independence with 30 points in its win over Neosho County as the Pirates won their 16th consecutive game. Hanson is 7th in the Region in scoring and is 1st in three point field goals made.

JCCC freshman guard Kyle Speed poured in a career-high 27 points against KCKCC, leading the Cavaliers to a 74-46 home win last week. He hit 11-of-17 shots, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range. He also had 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals. He followed with nine points, five boards, four assists and two steals in a two-point road loss at Coffeyville. For the season, Speed averages 11.7 points and leads the team in assists with a 4.1 per game average.

Sophomore Ervin Williams scored a career-high 26 points with 10 rebounds on the road against Cloud County. Williams shot 71 percent from the floor and 77 percent from the free throw line in three games last week. Williams is currently averaging 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season. Williams, a 6-foot8 forward, is leading the Saints shooting 63 percent (103-of-163) from the field this
