Cloud County freshman Jean-Pierre Dasylva continued to drive the offense for the T-Birds last week as he scored a pair of goals and added an assist in wins over Garden City and Northwest Kansas Technical College. Dasylva also made a key play in the T-Birds' double-overtime win against Garden City on Oct. 10. He drew a foul just outside the box to earn a free kick opportunity and, while his initial shot was saved by the goalkeeper, the rebound opportunity allowed Caio Faro to score the game-winning goal with just 32 seconds remaining in the overtime period. Dasylva's 10 goals on the season leads all T-Birds and are tied for the second most in the KJCCC.

Felipe Baeza improved to 10-0 in goal on the season, securing two road conference shutouts as the 9th ranked Cougars' two victories marked their tenth clean sheet of the year.  In Wednesday's narrow 1-0 win at Dodge City, Baeza turned back three shots on goal before rejecting another four on Saturday in Barton's first win at Pratt since 2012 and the freshman from Chile's eighth anchored shut out of the year. The pair of victories improved the 9th ranked Cougars to 9-0-1 in conference and 13-1-1 on the season.
