Week 1 - Division I KJCCC Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week

Player: Paulo Diaz - Coffeyville
Red Raven sophomore Paulo Diaz started the season on fire scoring five goals in Coffeyville's first two matches.  Against NEO, Diaz opened the season scoring the first three goals of the match as well as netting a fourth goal in the second half in the 11-0 defeat of NEO.  Against Crowder, Diaz gave the Ravens life netting a goal while eventually earning the 1-1 tie.   Overall to start the season, Diaz has five goals to go with 10 points over two games.

Goalkeeper: Eric Zalaya - Dodge City
Dodge City men's soccer opened the season with a 3-0 shutout win on the road against Lamar. Eric Zalaya returned to anchor the goal for the Conquistadors this year and recorded a shutout in the season opener after a strong freshman year last season. Zalaya tallied three saves in the win.
