KJCCC D-II Player of the Week: Monty Almaliky – Johnson County
JCCC midfielder Monty Almaliky scored three second half goals to power the No. 13 ranked Cavaliers to a 4-1 home victory over Marshalltown on August 30. The freshman from Wichita scored in the 52^nd minute off an assist from Caleb Brueckner. His second goal came on a penalty kick I the 67^th minute and he completed the hat trick with an unassisted goal in the 79th minute. Almaliky's hat trick is the first since September 21, 2016, a span of seven years. 

KJCCC D-II Goalkeeper of the Week: Ben Seffens – Johnson County
JCCC sophomore goalkeeper Ben Seffens stopped four of five shots he faced to help the No. 13 ranked Cavaliers to a 4-1 victory over Marshalltown on August 30.
