Week 9 - Division I KJCCC Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week

Daisuke Shinko (Coffeyville)
Red Raven sophomore Daisuke Shinko had a match against #8 NJCAA-ranked Cowley College. Shinko scored both Raven goals to propel Coffeyville in the 2-1 home victory over #8 Cowley. Shinko's game winning header came in the 86th minute off a Red Raven corner kick to secure the victory.
Ajay Stewart (Kansas City Kansas)
Kansas City Kansas Community College earned a 2-1 win over #5 Barton handing them their first loss of the season. Ajay Stewart scored both the Blue Devil goals and his second game winner in less than a week making that his 5th goal of the season.

Goalkeeper: Bruno Mestres (Seward County)
Mestres was a crucial part of the Saints defense against Dodge City on Sunday as the six-foot goalkeeper made multiple spectacular saves through all 90:00 minutes of action, including a one-on-one matchup with a Conqs player where Mestres was able to read the shot perfectly and knock it away. He has now reached over 100 saves in his freshman season with an overall save percentage of .821.
