Smith played 190 minutes in two days, captaining a stingy defense that gave up no goals and allowed only 12 shots. 

Freshman midfielder Taylor Knoll netted the game-winning goals each of his first two collegiate matches.  In the opener, Knoll scored the season¹s first goal.  He also had an assist on the fourth goal in the 9-0 win.

He followed with an even more impressive effort at Cloud County.  Knoll was involved in all three goals.  He scored the first and third goals, and provided the assist on the second.  He leads the team with three goals and eight points, and is tied for second with two assists.
