Ludmila didn’t score against the #1 ranked Blue Dragons,
but was instrumental in thwarting their rhythm in the
midfield and getting our attack set up. Against Indy she
was the most dangerous player on the field and recorded
her first hat trick in leading us to victory.

JCCC sophomore Marly Sutter played a part in all five
goals in JCCC 5-0 victory over Dodge City to end the
week, and snap a 5-game winless streak for the Lady
Cavaliers. Sutter scored twice and assisted on the other
three goals.

Sam McCrillis pulled the hat trick plus one in the #10
ranked Cougars lone game last week winning 5-1 over
Johnson County Community College. McCrillis helped
give Barton a 3-0 halftime advantage with an assist and
goal then scored two more goals in the second half to
help keep the Cougars undefeated in conference play at
7-0.

year. Her efforts in goal allowed us to be in the game
against the #1 ranked Blue Dragons until the very last.

Mauricio Campos had another solid game in goal as the
defensive captain of the #10 ranked Cougars and aided in
one of Barton’s five goals. Facing only two shots on
goal, Campos’ lone surrender of goal came on an own goal
as a fellow defender miss-cleared a Johnson County shot
midway through the second half. In addition to his
defensive play, Campos also recorded his first assist of
the season virtue of his first half goal kick to the
speedy Sam McCrillis who went on to split two defenders
and beat the Johnson County keeper for a 3-0 halftime
lead.
