Outdoor track and field season continues and the week seven of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

MEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Ricardo Barbosa (Colby) – He broke the school record and notched the #1 time in the NJCAA in the 3000-meter steeplechase with at time of 8:42.77 as he competed at the Drake Relays. 

MEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Christopher Young (Barton) – Won the javelin at the KU Rock Chalk Classic with what is the #1 throw in the NJCAA, a toss of 66.98 meters. He also competed in the discus (48.79m – 12^thplace) and shot put (17.51m – 4^th place).
